Jesse Holm
MESA, AZ (CBS5) -
A Mesa man has been booked into jail on suspicion of assaulting his mom and threatening to kill everyone in the house, police said.
Jesse Holm, 24, was arrested early Sunday morning at a home in the 7900 block of East Posada.
Police initially received a call that a person was threatening others with a knife, said Mesa police Sgt. Tony Landato.
When officers arrived, they learned Holm never had a knife, but he had assaulted his mother and punched a hole in a door, Landato said.
As officers knocked on the door, they they heard a woman screaming inside, Landato said. Officers kicked in the front door and the victims eventually came out, along with Holm. Police said they learned Holm had threatened to kill everyone in the house when he heard the police knocking.
The suspect was booked into jail on charges of assault, criminal damage, possession of prescription and dangerous drugs and threatening and intimidating.
