DPS: 2 hurt in head-on crash near Buckeye

BUCKEYE, AZ (CBS5) -

Two people, one of them an infant, were airlifted to a Valley hospital following a head-on crash in the Buckeye area.

Their conditions are not known.

The accident happened on northbound State Route 85 at Southern, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS spokesman Officer Carrick Cook said the cause of the crash is under investigation.

No other information is available at this time.
