Peoria road reopens after water main break

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A section of roadway in Peoria has reopened after a water main break on Sunday.

Thunderbird Road is now open to eastbound and westbound traffic from the Loop 101, city of Peoria spokesman Bowen Larsen said.

Crews will work Tuesday and Wednesday nights to complete the permanent pavement restoration, Larsen said. The road will remain open during these times with lane restrictions.
