PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Police are looking for information following an overnight shooting that injured a Phoenix man.
Phoenix police said officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2000 block of West Indian School Road around 3 a.m. Friday and found a man with a gunshot wound on his upper body.
The victim told officers he and a friend had been inside his apartment when they heard a knock at the door. The victim said the friend opened the door and two men charged into the apartment. He said they fired one gunshot and fled.
The victim was taken to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.
The victim told police he has no idea why he was targeted.
