Mesa police have identified the 4-year-old boy who died after he was pulled from a Mesa pool Tuesday afternoon.
Mesa Fire Department Capt. Forrest Smith said fire medics gave the boy identified by police as Caden Huss Pickeering CPR about 3:40 p.m. but he was not responsive and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Smith said it's unknown at this time how long he was in the water but police said the boy was on the pool deck when officers arrived.
No other details were immediately available, and police said the investigation was continuing.
