Kitten Keeper (Source: Arizona Humane Society)
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
An 11-week-old kitten pulled from a garbage can on Monday is in need of a new home.
The Arizona Humane Society said the kitten, named "Keeper" is underweight and will need foster care for several weeks.
The Humane Society spokeswoman Bretta Nelson said their adoption kennels are currently full with 238 felines.
AHS has launched a "Leave No Feline Behind" adoption campaign which is waiving adoption fees for felines in exchange for a monetary donation of any amount.
