Cory Sasnett and Britney Ohland
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
Scottsdale police arrested a man and a woman Wednesday for allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a car.
A witness who knew the victim was out of town noticed the garage door open and the BMW was not there, police said.
The vehicle was reported missing and a security company noticed it drive into a neighborhood and alerted police, according to police documents.
Officers pulled the vehicle over and arrested 25-year-old Cory Sasnett, of Goodyear, and 21-year-old Britney Ohland, of Phoenix, without incident, police said. Police found property from the home in the vehicle.
An investigation is still under way to determine how long the suspects were in the home and how they entered because there was no sign of forced entry, police said.
Both suspects were booked on car theft and burglary charges.
