Phoenix PD: 1 shot in drug deal gone wrong

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are investigating an overnight shooting near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Police said three people went to an apartment to buy drugs but when they arrived, two people inside jumped them.

One of the three drug buyers pulled out a gun and shot one of the people in the apartment.

The shooting victim is in serious but stable condition at the hospital.
