OAK CREEK, AZ (CBS5/AP) -

Bond has been set at $125,000 for an Oak Creek man accused of threatening tourists with a pellet gun in northern Arizona.

Dwight D'Evelyn with Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Ricky Donalson, 59, approached the father, mother along with their 8 and 11-year-old children and 18-month-old baby at the Turkey Creek Trailhead on July 7 holding a gun and asked them if they had started a campfire.

The father said "no" and that they had just finished a hike and were leaving. The suspect told them to "get the (expletive) out."

The victims said the suspect then shouldered his rifle and pointed the muzzle directly at the father and asked him if there was a problem. The father explained that there was no problem and got his family in their SUV and got away safely.

On Wednesday, Donalson was arrested at his home. A pellet gun matching the victims' description was recovered.

Donalson denied the incident.

He was booked on five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of assault on children under 15 and reckless handling of a weapon.
