TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

Six people wounded in a 2011 shooting rampage in Tucson are part of a group demanding a national plan of action to reduce gun violence.

The group has partnered with Mayors Against Illegal Guns, a bipartisan coalition of more than 700 mayors working to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.

Their campaign comes in the wake of a mass shooting at a Colorado movie theater last week that left 12 dead and 58 wounded.

The group is urging President Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to present their plans to prevent gun violence.

The January 2011 shooting outside a Tucson supermarket killed six people and wounded 13 including former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
