HOLBROOK, AZ (CBS5) -
A Taylor man died Monday night after falling 140 feet into the Silver Creek Canyon north of Snowflake.
Michael John Hunsaker, 21, his sister and a friend were near the edge of the canyon throwing rocks when he lost his balance picking up a large rock and fell, according to the Navajo County Sheriff's Office.
The Pinetop Fire Department Rope Rescue Team recovered his body, which was taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
Investigators are waiting for the toxicology report and they do not believe any foul play was involved.
