PD: Transient's death treated as homicide

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man who appeared to be homeless was found dead in Phoenix late Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Phoenix police said they are investigating the transient's death as a homicide.

The victim was found near 19th and Peoria avenues and appeared to have blunt force trauma, police said.

There is no other information available at this time.
