TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -
An agent from the Sonoita Border Patrol Station in Tucson seized more than $1.3 million of marijuana Sunday after the suspects abandoned the vehicle.
The border patrol agent found 2,773 pounds of marijuana on Forest Service Road 49 hidden in the truck's cab and bed, which was covered in plywood, authorities said.
A Customs and Border Protection helicopter, a K-9 unit and other agents searched for the suspects but they weren't found, agents said.
