PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man in connection with a Circle K robbery on Jan. 5.

The suspect entered the Circle K store, walked to the beer cooler and picked up two 18 packs of beer, police said.

The man threatened to shoot the clerk if he tried to stop him. The suspect walked past the register without attempting to pay for the beer and exited out of the store, officers said.

The suspect climbed into a small white or silver passenger car and drove eastbound toward 91st Avenue.

He is described as Hispanic and between 18 to 20 years old. He is 5'10" tall and weighs 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt, a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

A $1,000 reward has been posted for information leading to the man's arrest and/or indictment.

People with any information should call Silent Witness at WITNESS (480-948-6377), or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS.
