Flagstaff police are investigating a shooting on Saturday at a McDonalds on Highway 89.
Justin Maccrae Smith, 24, was standing in line with a gun in the back part of his pants, according to the police report.
Smith began leaning against the counter and adjusting his pants when the gun went off, hitting the tile wall behind him and ricocheting to the floor, police said.
The bullet caused flying debris and at least one person was struck in the leg with debris from the bullet or the wall, authorities said. No one received serious injuries.
The Coconino County Attorney's office will decide whether to press charges against Smith when the investigation is complete.
