GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
One person was in critical condition and two others injured in a two-car crash at 55th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale on Monday morning.
A Glendale police officer said the critically injured person was not believed to be wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
A Glendale Fire Department spokesman said there was a report of a fire under one of the vehicles and that passers-by put it out with extinguishers.
A second car involved in the crash came to rest against a privacy wall at a residence at the intersection.
At least one person was taken to a Phoenix hospital.
No other information was immediately available.
