MESA, AZ (AP) -
Nearly all of the key amenities at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport are changing as part of a $10 million terminal expansion.
Airport spokesman Brian Sexton tells the East Valley Tribune that passengers should give themselves some extra time over the next few months.
The biggest change is a baggage claim that was relocated on Friday. Passengers can access the baggage claim through a temporary corridor that blocks the construction zone.
Other services will move into the terminal every few weeks until the 30,000-square-foot project is completed in October.
Sexton says the airport also has plans to expand the number of gates.
