TUCSON, AZ (AP) -
A Tucson man has been sentenced to 17 1/2 years in prison in connection with a murder during a home invasion.
Pima County prosecutors say 42-year-old Jorge Enrique Ballesteros was sentenced Thursday on manslaughter, armed robbery and illegally controlling an enterprise charges.
The Arizona Daily Star (http://bit.ly/OwSRBC) says Ballesteros was part of a gang that committed home invasions to steal drugs or money.
Ballesteros and two other men were indicted on first-degree murder charges in the killing of a man during a drug theft in February 2008.
He entered a plea agreement last month and was facing a prison term of between 10 1/2 and nearly 30 years.
