TUCSON, AZ (AP) -
A Tucson man is facing up to 22 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Vicente Salazar III, 19, entered his plea Wednesday, the Arizona Daily Star reported.
He'll be sentenced Aug. 17. Pima County prosecutors said Salazar's sentencing range is 10 to 22 years.
Salazar was arrested in the death of 28-year-old William Michael Flores on Feb. 27, 2011.
Authorities said Salazar robbed Flores because he was believed to be selling crack cocaine in Salazar's gang area.
Salazar allegedly knocked Flores off his bicycle by hitting him in the head with a 12-gauge shotgun and then shot him in the back as he tried to flee.
Flores died in an alley. Witnesses identified Salazar as the shooter and the murder weapon was found at his house.
