Gilbert man faces sex charges after wife finds binder of photos
Jeremy Todd Baland
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A Gilbert man is facing several charges after his wife found a three-ring binder that contained photos depicting the sexual exploitation of minors, police said.
Jeremy Todd Baland, 31, was arrested Wednesday and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation.
His wife called police after discovering the binder in their attic, police said.
Police said the photos appeared to be of children under the age of 18 engaged in sex acts or the simulation of such acts.
Baland told investigators he had a diaper fetish and porn addiction, according to police. He also told them that he downloaded and printed the images that were found in the binder when he was 15 after a 55-year-old man showed him where he could find child pornography.
Police said Baland also admitted to having some child pornography on his network server at home, but that he had remotely deleted most of the images on Wednesday.
Baland told investigators that he kept the photos because they reminded him of when he was little, according to police.
