Jonathan Lane of Bullhead City, AZ had a surprise waiting for him in Florida this week - police waiting to take him to jail.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Lane, 33, had flown across the country to meet a 14-year-old wheelchair-bound girl for sex.
A spokesman said Lane began corresponding online with the girl in June 2011, sending her lewd photos of himself. Ultimately she used her grandmother's credit card to buy him a plane ticket. Lane allegedly used Yahoo messenger to communicate his travel plans and plans for sexual activity with her.
The girl's father intercepted email messages from Lane and contacted the authorities in Tampa.
At his arrest July 16, police said Lane admitted to the charges, including traveling to meet a minor, use of a computer to solicit certain illegal acts, transmission of harmful material to a minor and lewd or lascivious battery.
They said Lane had full knowledge of the girl's age and physical condition.
