PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Police are looking for the owners of two pit bull puppies that were left in a car in Phoenix on Tuesday.
Officers tried finding the owners for 25 minutes before taking the animals out of the car and placing them in a shaded area. The puppies were later taken to the humane society, police said.
Police do not know how long the dogs were in the car at an apparent complex at 28th Street and Osborn Road. Police said the windows were slightly rolled down.
No other information is available at this time.
