SAN LUIS, AZ (CBS5) -

Customs and Border Protection arrested two men for allegedly smuggling drugs through the San Luis Port of Entry.

A 30-year-old U.S. Citizen living in Mexico was arrested Monday after authorities said a drug-sniffing dog found 33 pounds of heroin in his truck, worth $440,000.

Officers found 42 pounds of cocaine in a 57-year-old Yuma resident's SUV on Saturday. A drug-sniffing dog found 18 packages containing more than $380,000 of narcotics.

Both suspects were turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and their vehicles and drugs were seized.
