Section of I-10 closed after fatal crash

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Interstate 10 has re-opened after a fatal crash closed it Tuesday about 25 miles southeast of Phoenix, Gila River Police said.

A section of the I-10 westbound was shutdown approximately 25 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix because of the crash involving a semi-truck and passenger car.

Traffic from the Interstate was being detoured to Highway 587 and Casa Blanca Exit.
