PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of man who robbed a Phoenix Subway sandwich shop at gunpoint on June 18, police said.

A man wielding a handgun and carrying a Safeway plastic bag walked into the Subway at 8129 N. 35th Ave. about 6:56 p.m., police said.

He threatened customers and then pointed the gun at employees and demanded money, according to police.

Police said the money was put into the grocery bag and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. No vehicle was spotted.

The suspect is described as black, age 20 to 24, 6' to 6'2" tall, with a large tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing black-and-white sneakers and a dark bandana over the lower portion of his face.
