A Pinon man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in northeastern Arizona.

Prosecutors said Monday that 47-year-old Wilson Tsosie was found guilty of two counts of aggravated sexual abuse by a federal jury in Prescott.

Tsosie remains in custody and his sentencing is set for Oct. 15.

Prosecutors said Tsosie could face up to life in prison.

He was accused of sexually assaulting a woman twice in front of her home in a remote area outside Pinon on the Navajo Nation.
