1-year-old girl hospitalized in Glendale near-drowning

GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A baby is in extremely critical condition in the hospital after reportedly being pulled from a Glendale pool, according to Glendale fire officials.

The 1-year-old girl was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital by helicopter just before 6 p.m. Friday from a home near 74th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

No other details have been released at this time.
