Keeping a log of every bite you eat could help you lose more weight.
Researchers in Seattle looked at 123 overweight and obese women ages 50 to 70.
They found those women who kept a food journal lost about 6 pounds more than those who did not.
Experts say if you're going to start a food journal, it's important to carry your diary with you or you can use a tracking application on your smart phone.
