Phoenix police said two women were dropped off at a Mesa hospital with gunshot wounds but gave officers conflicting stories on how and where they were shot.
A police spokesman said the victims went to Banner Desert Medical Center with minor wounds around 5:30 a.m. Friday and that police were still trying to piece together the series of events.
There were reports that the two women were shot in Phoenix.
No other information was immediately available.
