4-month-old in critical condition; Scottsdale PD investigating

PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

A 4-month-old girl is in serious condition after she was brought into a Scottsdale fire station not breathing.

Scottsdale police Officer David Pubins said the fire station received the call Thursday afternoon for a baby who wasn't breathing near Pima and Hualapai. Before the crew could get out of the station at Pima and Thompson Peak, the baby's father arrived at the station with the infant.

Pubins said CPR was conducted and the child was taken to SHC Shea. Her condition is considered life-threatening.

Police are investigating the cause.

No other details have been released at this time.
