NOGALES, AZ (AP) -
Authorities said a Nogales man has died after he was attacked by a swarm of bees.
The man was one of several people attacked in Nogales by the bees, the Nogales International reported.
Assistant Fire Chief William Sanchez said emergency personnel from the Nogales Fire Department responded to the call and the bees were on top of the man when they arrived.
The victim, whose name and age have not been confirmed, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Sanchez said it was not clear if he died from the bee stings or from another medical condition.
He said that other people who were stung went by private vehicle to the hospital.
