PHOENIX (CBS5) -
St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Luke's Health Initiative hosted a panel discussion about the Affordable Care Act at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday.
Arizona business and community leaders gathered to discuss how the Supreme Court's decision will affect them.
Officials said the Affordable Care Act actually helps make up for state cutbacks.
Kim Vanpelt with St. Luke's Health Initiative said, "It provides them with opportunities to collaborate more effectively to increase the quality of care that patients receive. Whether or not we take advantage of those opportunities ultimately depends on leadership at a local level."
One in five Arizonans do not have health insurance.
