Phoenix barn fire threatens vintage autos

The fire is on a county island at 91st Avenue and Broadway Road

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

An unknown number of vintage cars were being threatened by a hay fire in a barn in southwest Phoenix at midday Tuesday.

The fire is on a county island at 91st Avenue and Broadway Road and water access was limited and Rural-Metro firefighters were battling the fire hard with what water they had until tanker trucks could arrive.

The barn is near a building that houses the vintage autos.

No other information was immediately available.
