ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Michigan Humane Society investigators confirm the organization and Detroit officers raided the home of Young Calicoe on Wednesday.

Rapper Young Calicoe was facing criticism after a video was released about possible dog and cock fighting in his back yard.

In the video, Young Calicoe shows the cameraman his fenced back yard with roosters and dogs caged in the back.

"Anyone want to fight some dogs?" said Young Calicoe. "Hope we don't get indicted for that." "That Michael Vick type sh*t."

Viewers are wondering if Young Calicoe is promoting dog and cock fighting or if this is a publicity stunt.

CBS Atlanta News reached a spokesperson for the Michigan Humane Society on Tuesday afternoon.

The spokesperson said they are investigating the video, but had no other comments.

The organization tweeted on Tuesday afternoon: 'We want to thank you for all of your calls and emails about the viral video that has been featured online.'
