Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man who has committed 14 armed robberies in the Phoenix area in the last three months, police said.
The man is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5'8", 180 to 210 pounds, wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses. Police said he uses a handgun during the robberies.
The man has robbed several restaurants and nail salons between April 17 and July 8, according to police. The robberies have occurred between early in the morning to late at night.
The most recent robberies occurred at Taco Bell at 1745 W. Bethany Home Rd. on at 10 p.m. June 28 and at Wendy's at 2024 E. Camelback Rd. at 10:15 p.m. July 6.
The man made a purchase and once the register was open he pulled out a gun and demanded money, police said. In some of the robberies he has not drawn the weapon, but lifted his shirt to reveal it to employees.
He was caught on video robbing a Panda Express at 998 E. Indian School Rd. on June 24.
