(CBS5) -
Students are enjoying summer vacation right now, but according to a study from the Federal Government, when they head back to class, they might be able to breeze right through their homework.
Every year the government has students fill out a questionnaire about their school work.
The Center for American Progress, a Washington think tank that champions "progressive ideas," analyzed three years of questionnaires.
Among the findings:
Thirty-seven percent of fourth-graders say their math work is "often" or "always" too easy.
Fifty-seven percent of eighth-graders say their history work is "often" or "always" too easy.
Thirty-nine percent of 12th-graders say they rarely write about what they read in class.
