If you live in Phoenix there is no more trying to remember which night to put out the trash can and which night to put out the recycle bin.
Starting this week, city of Phoenix residents will begin same-day service.
That means for the first time trash and recyclables will both be picked up on the same day.
The city's "new way, same day" system is designed to make things easier for homeowners.
City officials said it will also save Phoenix $1.3 million a year.
