Gateway airport employee dies from accident

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport employee was killed in an accident Saturday in a construction yard.

Police said Cesar Rodriguez Montoya, 58, was fueling a water tanker when it fell and pinned him against the vehicle.

Police said another employee administered first aid until Montoya was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police believe Montoya was the only person present during the accident. The investigation is still ongoing.

No other information is available at this time.
