FLORENCE, AZ (AP) -

Women from Nevada and California are in custody after Arizona authorities seized drugs, more than $47,000 in cash and counterfeit money after a traffic stop.

Pinal County Sheriff's officials say 29-year-old Tiffanny Cleveland of Las Vegas and 30-year-old Shanice Hempstead of Fontana, Calif., were taken into custody early Wednesday.

A deputy patrolling Interstate 10 south of Casa Grande stopped a vehicle after its driver made several illegal lane changes.

A search of the vehicle turned up several pipes with residue consistent with methamphetamine plus marijuana, a purse containing $47,670 in shrink-wrapped packages and $460 in counterfeit $20 bills.

Authorities say Hempstead is being held on suspicion of money laundering, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Cleveland is jailed on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession.
