One of the statues stolen from Sacred Heart Catholic School
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Prescott is asking the people who stole two religious statues to return them to the school, the school's principal said.
The two missing statues are one of St. Francis that stood at the corner of Summit and Western near the school swings and another of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in front of the school. They went missing June 25.
The principal said a staff member saw the statutes on June 22 so the theft must have happened sometime that weekend.
The school filed a police report.
Anyone with information about the statues should contact school officials at 480-445-2621 or email Principal Pamela Dickerson at pdickerson@shcsprescott.com.
