A woman accused of leaving the scene of a crash said she did it because she didn't want her ice cream to melt.

Flora Burkhart told police after she rear-ended another car on Highway 59 in Van Buren, AR, on Sunday she kept going.

She said besides not wanting her ice cream to melt, she didn't think there was enough damage to stop.

Burkhart was cited for following another car too closely and leaving the scene of an accident.

No one was hurt.
