PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police are looking for two men they said shot and struck the driver of a pickup truck in a gang-related shooting before he was found dead in his truck early Monday.
Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department said two young Hispanic men were standing near 3000 E. Paradise Lane gesturing at the driver of a silver pickup around midnight when they opened fire, hitting the driver before the truck struck a light pole.
Crump said the driver had no identification, but was a Hispanic man between 18 and 25 years old.
Police said the owner of the truck was initially a passenger, but took over the truck after asking the driver to get out just before the shooting.
The surviving passenger told police something "didn't feel right" before the shooting.
Police said the only suspect information they had was they are Hispanic between 18 and 21 years old.
