PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police are trying to find a gunman who opened fire on two people inside a Valley hotel room.
Saturday's shooting occurred on the third floor of the Main Stay hotel near I-17 and Dunlap.
After shots were fired, police said they found a woman in the lobby with a gunshot wound.
"She told us there were seven subjects in a room, they got into an argument, someone pulled out a gun and shot her and another male," said Lt. Brian Debenedetto of the Phoenix Police Department.
By the time officials got to the room, everyone was gone, including the man who was shot.
He ended up at a tire shop at 19th Avenue and Dunlap, asking directions to the nearest hospital.
Police said both victims are expected to be OK and that the shooting appears to be drug-related.
