Jose Porfirio Ramirez-Florez
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police arrested a man Monday on suspicion of entering a neighbor's home and touching her while she slept.
The victim woke up in the early morning with her back to who she thought was her husband touching her, police said.
She turned around to tell her husband to stop and saw another man instead who was later identified as her neighbor, Jose Porfirio Ramirez-Florez, 32, police said.
The victim told Ramirez-Florez to get out of her home, but he got on his knees and offered her money for sex, police said. She told him to leave again, and he did, according to officers.
The woman told police the suspect's apartment number. He was arrested after she identified him, police said.
Police learned from interviews that the victim's husband had stepped out and left the door unlocked because he didn't have a key.
The victim also said she knew the suspect and his wife comes over sometimes and talks to the victim.
Ramirez-Florez was booked into jail on one count of sexual abuse and one count of burglary.
