Glendale PD: Still no trace of Jhessye in landfill

GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

On National Missing Children's Day, Glendale police said crews have found no trace of 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley in the Butterfield landfill.

The child's mother, Jerice Hunter, reported her missing from their Glendale home back in October.

A few months ago, crews started the tedious work of combing through the landfill. Even though the search hasn't turned up any significant evidence, police said they are confident that Jhessye's body is in the landfill.
