School celebrates first graduation with lock in

Posted: Updated:
GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -

The first-ever graduating class at Campo Verde High in Gilbert had a different kind of graduation party overnight.

They spent the night locked in their school gym.

They had a DJ playing music for dancing all night and they even brought in a comedian to perform around 5:30 this morning.

The students had breakfast, went out to the football field for graduation practice and then went home to sleep before tonight's graduation ceremony.
