PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix firefighters said two apartments at a Phoenix complex were destroyed by fire Monday morning.

Firefighters said the fire started on the second floor of the complex about 3:30 a.m. at 12439 N. 28th Dr. and that flames were shooting 10 feet from the windows when firefighters arrived.

One person in one of the units and an undetermined number of people in the second unit were displaced. No other units were affected, firefighters said.

No cause had been determined.
