Today is Armed Forces Day in the U.S.
In Phoenix, residents at the Madison Meadows Retirement Community celebrated the holiday by honoring veterans living at the facility.
The veterans recounted stories from their war experiences as they enjoyed the festivities.
Events included a wall of honor dedication and a presentation of the colors by a local ROTC group.
