Best-selling author reads to hospitalized kids

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

When you're a child, story time can be special.

Monday, kids at Phoenix Children's Hospital got lost in a book.

International best-selling children's author Tony DiTerlizzi was on hand to read his new book.

DiTerlizzi is also the global ambassador for Starlight Children's Foundation.

After the story was over, the children enjoyed snacks and played with toys.
