FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -
Expect to see some wildfires this year in Arizona.
That's the message from the folks at the Coconino and Kaibab National Forest.
They held a fire season workshop in Flagstaff Thursday.
They say that with the abnormally dry winter, some parts of the state might see slightly more severe fire behavior than normal.
They also want people to remember that if they go camping to use common sense and not start a fire if it's windy. Always have plenty of water to put it out and make sure it's cold to the touch before you leave your campsite.
